Previously On FIFA Ultimate Team Week: Ultimate Scream Has Received The Goods For EA Sports

First of all, let me tell you, EA Sports, you have already done it.

Finally, you have already delivered a brilliant week of content in FIFA 20 game. Not only did you supply us with ample non-promotional card and Squad Building Challenges, but you also hit a home run with Ultimate Scream. Anyway, that week is pretty amazing.

Traditionally a promotion to forget, Ultimate Scream in FIFA 20 is not only the best of the year so far, but also the best Ultimate Scream promotion of all time.

FIRSTLY: In Fact, FIFA 20 Ultimate Scream Is A Home Run:

As a matter of fact, Ultimate Scream is always one of the first promotions in a FIFA Ultimate Team cycle since FIFA 17, it was historically one of the worst promotions of the year. Cards received pretty randomly, temporary boosts that seemed pretty ineffective and also useless.

And now, this year EA Sports decided to offer the Scream team permanent upgrades to player relevant categories. For instance, Nicolas Otamendi, his base gold card is forgetful, received a +24 to his pace. Immediately, he became a viable choice. But, of course, that's not all:

EA Sports even announced eleven new players would receive permanent increases that week, making Ultimate Scream a multi-week event. Certainly, that means much fewer cards in packs to grind for, but it offers longevity to the promotion efficiently.

The most important is: six puzzle SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) spread across the weekend, a pretty objective Edin Dzeko, and SBC  James Milner and Jesus Navas.

Every FIFA 20 gamer, hats off to EA Sports, please.

SECONDLY: FIFA 20 Squad Building Challenges (Abbreviated As SBCs): Four New Player SBCs

It seems Ultimate Scream was not quite enough, EA Sports launched four new player SBCs that week:

  And they are:

The First One Is: MLS (Major League Soccer) Player of the Month (POTM) Carlos Vela

The Second One Is: End of an Era Bastian Schweinsteiger

The Third One Is: Ligue 1 Player of the Month (POTM) Victor Osimhen

The Fourth One Is: Bundesliga Player of the Month (POTM) Amine Harit

A lot of FIFA 20 gamers know that Vela and Osimhen were must-haves because these budget super subs provided great value for FIFA 20 coins. Amine Harit ended up being the worst of the bunch coming in about 60,000 FUT 20 coins, but, in fact, it is not a very terrible card. It's just low value for FUT 20 coins, you should notice that.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, well, he was a tough one. It's a quite brilliant card, but it's hard to link, and also he was very expensive. Therefore, you'd better farm FIFA 20 coins as many as possible.

THIRDLY: Team Of The Week (TOTW) 6 Predictions In FIFA 20: Major Leagues Are Back Now

As the major leagues returned from the international break, TOTW (Team Of The Week) 6 predictions are just flying. And now, here are six players likely to get a Team Of The Week card:

Names Are Listed In Alphabetical Order:

Angel Di Maria: Achievement: Two Goals

Ciro Immobile: Achievement: Two Goals and an Assist

Frederik Ronnow: Achievement: 10 Saves, Clean Sheet, Man of the Match

  Lautaro Martinez: Achievement: Two Goals

  Romelu Lukaku: Achievement: Two Goals

Wissam Ben Yedder: Achievement: Two Goals (Game-winner in stoppage time)

We all know that EA Sports has always been reluctant to offer Ones To Watch cards in-forms (IF), but at least Ben Yedder needs one for his performance, that's what we know for sure.

FOURTH: FIFA 20 Pitch Notes: Major Gameplay Updates Has Already Arrived:

EA released a major patch to FIFA 20. The FIFA 20 Ultimate Team section offered the quality of life changes that were missing at release and patched the Fitness bug.

Albeit a pretty minor change, rank thresholds now show up for Rivals and Squad Battles. What's more, there were major changes to gameplay including skill moves and also, goalkeeper AI (Artificial Intelligence).

FIFTH: FIFA Ultimate Team Week In Review Roundup

  Grade: A

Anyway, EA Sports, now you deserve a round of applause. This was the very first complete week of content in FIFA 20.

Prices, value for FIFA 20 coins and rewards are always up for debate, but there is no disputing the amount of content players received. The best Scream promotion ever and four new player SBCs probably not be the standard moving forward. But, anyway, let's just enjoy the present.
