Amara Is Looking For A Fight In Borderlands 3 — The Third Character Trailer

Finally here comes to my favorite character in Borderlands 3, Gearbox released the trailer of Amara with the title named: "Looking for a fight" on August 6, 2019. As you know this latest character trailer highlights Amara (also known as the Siren), she is one of six Sirens in the universe of Borderlands and meanwhile, she is also a very powerful fighter who enjoys her moment in the spotlight as "hero to the people." The "Looking for a Fight" trailer begins with Amara interrupting two bad guys beating up another guy in an unknown alley.  "I'm always looking for a fight," says Amara in the voiceover. "A fight for justice. A fight for what's right." And according to what she says showcasing her love of brawling. And just after she finishes that sentence, that poor two bad guys notice her and then sprint away immediately. "But at this point," she continues, "I'll settle for anyone who doesn't run."

It seems that Amara's reputation as skilled Siren and lover of street brawling precedes her, as the rest of this trailer shows a lot of bad guys running in her wake. Here I have to praise the voice actor, Zehra Fazal really does a great job of showcasing Amara's love of the spotlight and her depression with her inability to find a very good fight. When she walks a red carpet, she reminds us says, "A tiger needs to hunt."

From the trailer, we can see Amare got six mystical arms, and that makes her an extremely dangerous woman. And now we can take a look at her unique Siren abilities in action from the trailer, which start with her summoning six ethereal arms and summoning a fist from the ground that can lock the enemy in place quickly and then ends with her astral projecting to take down a bunch of Psychos. And that is her real ability while she is in a fight.

Now you know the Fist of the Element Tree's main ability lets Amara lock down enemies with her massive magic fist, while the rest of the tree adds more methods to increase elemental damage. In the same time, the Mystical Assault lets you bombard enemies with your fists and generate stacks of Rush, activating buffs whenever you use an action skill. As you explore further into the tree, and you will unlock more buffs. Eventually, you will come across the Brawl tree, which will offer you a ground-pounding slam and abilities that make you much tankier.

So far, we have already known that Amara's pal — Moze "the gunner" already has mech, so for me, the competition for the best character is pretty steep, but, usually, you can not go wrong with choosing one of the Sirens. Basically, they are wizards with various Borderlands 3 guns, though in Amara's case she's more like a magic monk, also carries different types of guns. Players can select her and then use her astral projections to batter enemies, with each skill tree putting a different twist on her attacks.

All in all, Amara looks pretty badass, with great character design, and awesome voice acting, and a bunch of new Siren skills we have never before. Just the swagger alone makes Amara a wonderful selection for a Borderlands 3 playthrough.

Once again, Borderlands will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13, 2019.
